How Our Septic Calculators Work

See how each septic calculator works, what information it uses and what its result can—and cannot—tell you.

Tank planning

The general mode calculates daily household flow and a two-day storage illustration. It cannot establish tank requirements. Minnesota mode references a specific state capacity rule; it cannot establish local compliance.

Pumping schedule

The tool adds your chosen interval to the last pumping date. It records household context without inventing a personalized solids-accumulation model. Sludge/scum measurements and professional advice determine actual service needs.

Pumping budget

The tool totals prices you enter and an optional tax rate. It does not supply ZIP-code prices, live contractor quotations or a market-cost prediction.
